Who are the biggest sustainable fashion influencers on Instagram and why should we care?
After the Bangladesh’s Rana Plaza factory collapse, Twitter became an incredible hub for conversation and rally for promoting sustainable fashion and transparency in the global apparel industry. It is where big name designers, journalists through to everyday citizens became a part of the global movement to support green, ethical and eco-friendly clothing and swayed government organisations to crack down on workers’ conditions.
The biggest conversation took place with the hashtag #whereyouwear and #whomademyclothes.
We have taken the time to find the biggest influencers and conversation starters in the sustainable fashion world. They’re the people who are making a difference and raising the important questions we need to ask in order to live a more progressive and ethical life in our clothing choices.
